'Crowey' is an loyal, naïve, and energetic scarecrow who is dedicated to the care of his farm. As his farmer friend spends the day at the market, Crowey is left in charge, but when a single crow decides to settle down in the field, Crowey's stubbornness to do what a scarecrow should, sends him on a wild crow-chase that leaves the farm in a worse state than it began.

This was a short film concept I created during my studies where the main focus was the storyboarding process. So I wanted to create something with cartoon action, and as I loved Sylverster and Tweedy-Pie as a kid, and as part of the project was to 'animate' an inanimate object, I came up with the idea of a 'cat and mouse chase', or I suppose 'cat and bird chase', between a scarecrow and a crow.
Title Art made to look like old cartoon Looney-Tunes' title cards.

Crowey Storyboard

As this was just a concept project, the full story was not boarded unfortunately, but I did really enjoy creating these characters and this story.
